Exclusive Death Stranding 2 Teaser Unveiled!

    Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the highly anticipated sequel to Hideo Kojima's 2019 game, has received a new trailer and an official release date. The game is set to launch on June 26, 2025, exclusively for PlayStation 5.

    The new trailer, which spans 10 minutes, offers a glimpse into the game's story and gameplay:

    • It features returning characters Sam (Norman Reedus) and Fragile (Léa Seydoux), along with new additions to the cast.
    • The footage shows Sam traversing various landscapes, including desolate areas and a desert environment, while facing challenges such as adverse weather and the series' signature otherworldly creatures.
    • New gameplay elements are teased, including what appears to be more combat-oriented scenarios.
    • The trailer concludes with a scene featuring a character named Neil wearing a bandana reminiscent of Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid series.

    • Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is described as an "inspiring mission of human connection beyond the UCA".
    • The game will be priced at $69.99, with pre-orders starting on March 17, 2025.
    • A Digital Deluxe Edition ($79.99) and a Collector's Edition ($229.99) will also be available, offering early access from June 24, 2025.
    • The cast includes Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Troy Baker, Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna, and film director George Miller.

    Hideo Kojima has also announced "The Strands of Harmony Tour," a concert series featuring live orchestral performances of the game's music, set to begin on November 8, 2025, in Sydney, Australia.
