Death Stranding 2 Exclusive SXSW Teaser Unveiled!

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the highly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed Death Stranding, was showcased at SXSW 2025 on March 9th. During a special panel, game director Hideo Kojima revealed new details about the game, including its official release date of June 26, 2025, for PlayStation 5.

The event featured:

1. A new 10-minute trailer showcasing gameplay, cinematics, and the game's cast.
2. Confirmation of returning actors Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, and Troy Baker, alongside new cast members Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna, and George Miller.
3. Announcement of the Collector's Edition, which includes a 15-inch Magellan Man statue, a 3-inch Dollman figurine, and various in-game items.
4. Information about pre-orders starting on March 17, 2025.

Additionally, Kojima Productions announced a "Stranding Harmony" concert series celebrating the music of Death Stranding, set to begin on November 8, 2025, at the Sydney Opera House.

The game's narrative continues from the original, with Sam Bridges embarking on a new journey to save humanity from extinction in a world plagued by otherworldly creatures.
