Death Stranding 2: Teaser for the Highly Anticipated Release Date!

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set to launch on June 26, 2025, exclusively for PlayStation 5. The release date was officially announced by Hideo Kojima during a special panel at SXSW 2025 in Austin, Texas.

Pre-orders for the game will begin on March 17, 2025, at 10 AM local time. Players who purchase the Collector's Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition will have early access to the game starting on June 24, 2025, two days before the official release.

The game will be available in several editions:

1. Standard Edition
2. Digital Deluxe Edition ($80)
3. Collector's Edition ($230)

The Collector's Edition includes:

• Full game digital download
• 48-hour early access
• 15" Magellan Man Statue
• 3" Dollman figurine
• Art cards
• Letter from Hideo Kojima
• Various in-game items and bonuses

A new 10-minute trailer was also released during the SXSW event, showcasing new gameplay, characters, and story elements. The trailer features the original song "To the Wilder" by artist Woodkid.

Additionally, Kojima Productions announced the "Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Strands of Harmony World Tour," a series of concerts featuring music from the game. The tour will run from November 8, 2025, to March 26, 2026, visiting multiple cities across the globe.
