Exclusive: Death Stranding 2 Teaser Release Date!

Kojima Productions has officially announced that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be released on June 26, 2025, exclusively for PlayStation 5. Preorders for the game will begin on March 17, 2025, with multiple editions available, including a Collector's Edition priced at $229.99 and a Digital Deluxe Edition at $79.99. Players who purchase these editions will gain early access starting June 24, 2025.

The announcement was made during a panel at SXSW, where Hideo Kojima unveiled a new trailer showcasing gameplay and cinematics. The trailer highlights returning characters like Sam Porter Bridges (played by Norman Reedus) and introduces new cast members such as Neil (portrayed by Luca Marinelli). The game will explore themes of human connectivity in a post-apocalyptic world, featuring the return of the Social Strand system and open-ended encounters.

Additionally, Kojima Productions revealed plans for a Death Stranding: Harmony Tour, a concert series featuring live orchestral performances of the game's music, set to begin on November 8, 2025, in Sydney, Australia.
